Operation MissionLIFE is a nine month experience filled with
practical training and frontline mission work.  Divided into two
phases, Operation MissionLIFE is designed to give its participants
the most well rounded training and service opportunity possible.

Phase one is a Bible Worker Certification program combined
with frontline mission work within the North American Division.
For four months (August 25 to December 20) students train to
be effective soul-winners at LIFE’s headquarters in Orlando, Florida.
During this time students learn how to share the gospel in a
Western, secular context.  Students gain experience not only
through classroom instruction, but more importantly by participating
in active, relevant, outreach ministry.  Foreign language study and classes on cross-cultural ministry are also included during phase one
in preparation for overseas mission service in phase two.
(Phase two is optional.  See FAQ sheet)

In phase two students learn to make disciples in a cross-cultural
setting outside the North American Division.  For the five remaining
months of Operation MissionLIFE (January to May) students
transfer to an international destination for the purpose of establishing
new work in unentered areas around the world.  By working together
with local Bible workers, students gain a rich experience as they
learn to share Jesus with those from other faiths, religions, and
cultural backgrounds.

Operation MissionLIFE has one purpose.  It exists to fulfill the
command of Jesus to “Go…make disciples of all nations.”
LIFE believes the only way this task can be completed is to furnish
an army of workers who are well equipped to serve God in whatever
context or environment He calls them to.  It is our prayer that you
will join us as we seek to complete this great commission.
